About the Role

Ranson Barnes Recruitment is proud to be working with our long-term client in the recruitment of a Business Development Manager. In this newly created role, you will be selling a specialist service to both SMEs as well as large corporates and will be responsible for the full sales cycle.


Duties to Include but Not Limited to

  • Proactively generating new business opportunities through a variety of methods such as cold/warm calls, networking, trade shows, social media, referrals, and client visits.
  • Proactively building and managing a targeted sales pipeline in line with the company’s growth targets.
  • Establish strong relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Delivering tailored Tenders/Proposals/Presentations to new and lapsed clients.
  • Working closely with marketing and internal sales teams to support lead generation.
  • Producing reports around sales activity to include projections and conversions.
  • Analyze past and current market trends.

What’s Required

  • Proven success in a full cycle B2B business development role.
  • Strong and clear communicator who is comfortable delivering presentations, leading meetings, and negotiating on pricing.
  • Being highly organized to work independently in a target-driven environment.
  • The ability to create impactful proposals and sales plans.
  • Microsoft literacy.
  • Enjoying building and developing long-term relationships.
  • Holding a Full UK driving licence.
  • The desire to develop and make this role your own.

Benefits

  • Salary of £45,000 to £55,000
  • Uncapped commission (expected circa £30,000)
